Kevin Martin has a 40 point game coming soon. The Western Carolina product has the second highest efficiency rating among all guards in the NBA. He trails only Steve Nash (through Friday’s games). ...Among those struggling is Gary Payton with a .236 EFR. Payton was once among the efficiency leaders at his position. To make matters worse in Miami, Antoine Walker is rolling at a .231 EFR so far. No wonder the Heat are off to a slow start. ...Keyon Dooling continues to get minutes even though his EFR is always low. At present he is .282.  ...Don’t believe the hype yet on Adam Morrison. Morrison—so far in his rookie season has an EFR of .234. ...Stephon Marbury has a low .294 EFR.
