I think he will be an upgraded version of a what Brendan Haywood or Joel Pryzbilla brings; which is shot blocking, rebounding, and just enough offense to keep himself in the rotation. He is a two-time winner of the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year award (2008-09, 2009-10). He is tough for any offensive player to score on in the paint. That said, he does get beat off the dribble when pulled out of the paint. ...He reads plays well as a help defender. He has skill and timing in his blocked shots (he doesn't just block shots because he is tall). ...Many of his field goals are dunks or offensive rebound dunks. He is a strong finisher.
