Bembry, DeAndre  St. Joseph's 6'6" 207 SG jr. One of my favorite college basketball players is DeAndre Bembry. He was the 2015-16 A-10 Player of the Year. Bembry is a TEAM-first guy that has a smooth game. Bembry averaged 17.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game as a junior in 2015-16. He had a better than 2:1 assist to turnover ratio. His weakness is the perimeter shot. He hit just 26% of his three-point attempts and he is a career 62% free throw shooter. Obviously, those shooting numbers will have to improve for Bembry to find NBA minutes. ...Bembry is a good athlete. He is well conditioned. He played more minutes than any A-10 player in 2015-16. Bembry tested with a 38" max. vert. at the NBA Draft Combine. He will fit into the NBA with no problem. Defensively, Bembry's DEFRTG was better than the St. Joseph's team DEFRTG. His 6'9.25" wingspan is the same as Victor Oladipo and Dante Exum. ...We see Bembry as a future NBA starter.

In 2013, the 16th pick in the NBA Draft was Lucas Nogueira. We advised, "Draft Gorgui Dieng."
