Bender, Dragan Bosnia  7'1" 216 SF 11/17/1997 Bender is a lanky right handed, 18 year-old, player that has guard skills in a 7'1" frame. He is widely considered to be the top young prospect in Europe. He has been playing with grown men professionally for four years. His ability to drive to the hoop at 7'1" is a site to see. He shot 36% from beyond the international arc this season. He had slightly more assists than turnovers. His ability to block shots is impressive. He is not a great athlete at all. The last publicly available info (from 2015 on shows a max. vert. of 27.5" (that is an inch and half less than Jeff Withey, to add perspective). His 3.50 3/4 court sprint time is slow relative to the rest of the NBA. He runs fluidly. It just isn't particularly fast. ...Bender does not get to the free throw line much. He is mostly a spot-up shooter on offense. ...He does have a "feel" for the game. He runs hard and can finish in transition. ...I think Bender is presently overrated as a prospect.

In 2012 the 18th pick in the NBA Draft was Terrence Jones. We advised, "Draft Draymond Green."
