Bolomboy. Joel  Weber St.  6'9" 224 PF SR. Bolomboy was the 2015-16 Big Sky Player of the Year. He finished his career as Weber State’s and the Big Sky’s career leader in rebounds, blocked shots (with 179) and in free throws attempted. He has a lively body and a decent shooting touch. Bolomboy shot 37% 3-pt. (career) and 71% FT (career). Bolomboy likes to dunk. He is a master of the one-handed power jam. Decision making is his real weakness, with more than two turnovers for every one assist. Bolomboy was twice named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year and helped lead the Wildcats to two Big Sky titles and two trips to the NCAA Tournament during his career. He is very good at drawing contact. Right handed but will use his left, although he is very right hand dominant. His standing reach is 8'7.5" (same as Luc Mbah a Moute, and Evan Turner). While the standing reach is more small-forward-ish, his 40.5" max vert. helps him play bigger. ...Bolomboy's Mother is Russian. He was born Jan. 28, 1994 in Russia. ...I see Bolomboy as a potential lower-tier starter in the NBA.

In 2003 the 48th pick in the NBA Draft was James Lang. We advised, "draft Kyle Korver."
