Cook, Elgin  Oregon  6'6" 206 SG SR. Cook was one of my favorite college players. He has a body that gives him room to become better (upside).  Cook averaged 14.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. In each of his three seasons at Oregon, Cook raised his ppg and assists per game. He raised his three point percentage with each season as well, finally getting to the bottom for "acceptable" at 33% 3-pt.. He shot 73% FT (career). ...Cook gambles too much on defense and hopefully a good NBA coach will break him of that bad habit. There is no reason Cook's DEFRTG should be worse than the Oregon team DEFRTG (but it was). Cook is the son of former NBA standout guard Alvin Robertson. Cook is physically strong and he has the ability to guard anyone from point guards to power forwards. ...Cook has the body to play in the NBA. He also improved and figures to continue to do so. He was just peaking at the 2015-16 Pac-12 Tournament where he was named MVP after averaging 17.3 points and 5.3 rebounds for the champion Ducks.
