17. Marquis Daniels - Auburn. 6'5" 198. SG/PG - SR.
A creative guard with good handles, and a strong midrange game. In the open floor, this guy is a gem. The shooting numbers from outside are not where you want them to be. 68% free throw shooter. 30 % from the college three. What Daniels does possess is a tough midrange game, and good hoop instincts. Gets steals at a high rate. Also turns it over lots. Â…Didn't have much help at Auburn, and he balled anyway. He's a good passer, and he has toughness. Daniels played at the same high school that produced Orlando Magic star Tracy McGrady.
