NBA Draft Scouting 2002

20. Dan Dickau

Gonzaga 6'1" 189 PG - SR.

Wooden Award finalist. Dickau is a high energy, confident, scoring guard. His hoop IQ is very high. A competitor in every sense of the word, he carried Gonzaga at times. He has deep shooting range. He is a leader, and although he is a scorer, he seldom takes a shot out of the flow of the offense. He still hoists em up, but most are good shots. He will pull his jumper at any moment. Dickau had a 3.40 grade-point average as a broadcasting major. Some question his speed but I think he's smart enough to overcome any quickness concerns. ...Always moving - always takes available space.

Looking Back to 1999
