Finney-Smith, Dorian  Florida 6'8" 212 SF SR. In our opinion, one of the more underrated players in the draft is Dorian Finney-Smith. He averaged 14.7 points and 8.3 rebounds per game as a Senior. Finney-Smith improved his coring average with each college season. He started his career at Virginia Tech before making the transfer to Gator country. He sat out the 2012-13 season, and he is one year older than this draft class. Finney-Smith has NBA size for a small forward. he can shoot the deep-ball (36% 3-pt). He also had a positive assist-to-turnover ratio. His defensive rating was better than the Florida team DEFRTG. The consensus says Finney-Smith will likely go undrafted. We think that will prove to be a mistake.

In 2002, the 48th pick in the NBA Draft was Chris Owens. We advised, "Draft Darius Songaila."
