Hamilton, Daniel  Connecticut 6'8" 197 SF soph. Because he struggled at the NBA Draft Combine, Daniel Hamilton may be able to be had at a discount. I like Hamilton's play-making game. As a sophomore, he averaged 12.5 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. He shot .337 (career) from beyond the college three point line. He is a 77% FT shooter. Hamilton has the ability to find holes in the opponents defense. His mid-range game is advanced. Despite being an average athlete, his DEFRTG is excellent (91.1) and his individual DEFRTG was better than the UConn team DEFRTG. He is a tremendous rebounder for a wing player. His career assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.8-to-1. ...He has a 6'9" wingspan (same as Solomon Hill and Glenn Robinson III). ...The consensus has Hamilton going undrafted. I think he will prove to be worthy of a first round pick.

In 2005 the 47th pick in the NBA Draft was Bracey Wright. We advised, "draft Ryan Gomes."
