Harris, Manny Michigan   6'6" 185 SG, PG Jr. Harris is a Shooting Guard that has the ability to make plays at NBA speed due to his excellent body control. He is a player I like better than his stats position him in the landscape of college SGs. I say this because Harris never really played with an efficient low post player at Michigan. A player with the skills Harris possesses has a chance to improve his efficiency once teamed with better players. ...Harris is a scorer that can create his own shot. He was probably the best rim-attacker in the Big Ten. ...Athletic, and said to be coachable. He gets to the free throw line. Right handed but skilled enough to convert a lefty shot on the run.  ...He makes good reads offensively. He moves without the ball as well as any player in the Draft. ...Has lots of potential due to a nice shooting touch combined with athleticism. He helps as a rebounder from the TWO position. He improved his assist-to-turnover ratio in each of his three seasons at Michigan. Yet he still needs to be better about turning down some shots in favor of assisting teammates. His career FG% at Michigan was just 41%. …83% FT number says he CAN shoot better than his current percentages from three point range. If he spots up - he can knock it down. ...Can run and finish. ...Good footwork. ...Played an excellent game at Wisconsin (01/22/08) when he scored 26 points on 11-19 FG. ...Harris is not a chest-pounding, 'look-at-me' type kid. He just plays. I like that.

Where do I expect Harris to be taken? Somewhere around 56th.

Our best advice: In 2002 - the 56th pick was Alex Holcomb. We said - "take Udonis Haslem".

Our worst advice: In 2007 - the 56th pick was Ramon Sessions. We said - "take Ali Traore". Traore is playing in the French Pro A League and the Euroleague.
