His standing reach is nine feet, three and a half, inches! His vertical jump, measured at Chicago pre-draft camp is 35.5". ...He rebounds, he sees the floor, and he has a great touch. He is long, explosive and skilled. A good interior passer. His jumper looks natural from 18 feet. His post game is weak at this point. ...He can dunk from way outside his offensive space. He does hit the offensive glass. ..."I always wanted to go to the N.B.A. out of high school," (New York Times). Howard's Dad is a Georgia Trooper and his mom is a school teacher. Howard was student body president of his high school. ...Howard will hustle on transition defense, and block shots with his combo of speed, and length. ...He needs to be better about not throwing a lazy one handed pass. His athleticism and length are too much to pass up.
