1. James, Lebron High School 6'7" 245 SF, PG
His school, St. Vincent-St. Mary, won a state championship in Ohio, and he was named the USA Today national player of the year. James' body is ready for the NBA. He has great vision, and explosion in his game. He is unselfish, not just dominant in high school because of his physical stature. He can pass the ball with either hand, he can take a hit and still finish. High School coach, Morgan Wooten says James is the most dominant high school player since Lou Alcindor. ..."He has poise, confidence and maturity", according to Tim McCormick who spent time at James' practice sessions. …His shot selection is still suspect. Dick Vitale says, "For a player of his size, he's the best passer I've seen since that kid from East Lansing, Mich., by the name of Earvin "Magic" Johnson." ...James averaged 11 assists per game in high school. ...Keeps his dribble low, and is a very skilled ball handler. ...His body is super strong. ...Biggest shortcoming at this point is that he tends to "linger" on his jumper. His balance will need to improve to become a better shooter.
