LeVert, Caris  Michigan 6'7" 191 PG SR. LeVert is a tall point guard that can guard three positions (PG, SG, SF). LeVert averaged 16.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.9 assists in 2015-16 before stepping on another player's foot and injuring his own foot. The injury required surgery. That made it three out of four seasons that LeVert had an injury derail his play. LeVert had the same surgery that Kevin Durant had (same doctor even). There is hope that LeVert will heal with time but he is not likely to be ready for Summer League. He is without question (in our minds) a first round talent if healthy. LeVert shot 44% 3-pt. FG in 2015-16. He hit 79% FT. He is a terrific decision maker too with a 2.96-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. LeVert has a 6'10" wingspan (same as Jabari Parker, Danny Green and DeMarre Carroll). LeVert's defensive rating was slightly worse than the Michigan team DEFRTG. ...A point will come in the 2016 NBA Draft where a team will take a risk on injury-prone Caris LeVert. And we will support that move.

In 2012, the 26th pick in the NBA Draft was Miles Plumlee. We advised, "Draft Draymond Green."
