McCaw, Patrick  UNLV 6'7" 181 SF soph. McCaw show flashes of being a very good wing defender, something NBA teams should covet. He led the Mountain West Conference in steals per game (2.5). His body is still maturing and right now he is probably not ready to play meaningful minutes in an NBA game. He likes to shoot the three-ball. He hit 36% of his 186 attempts in 2015-16. He made 77% FT this season past. McCaw has an impressive 1.88-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio (very good for a shooting guard). McCaw has a 6'10" wingspan (same as Justise Winslow and Sam Dekker). McCaw tested with a 38" max. vert. (same as Jeremy Lamb). ...We view McCaw as a good selection very late in the first round or early second. He needs to develop further but could be worth the time invested.

In 2010 the 20th pick was James Anderson. We advised, "Draft Hassan Whiteside."
