Samhan, Omar St. Mary's 6'11" 265 C SR. Omar Samhan makes me shake my head. He shouldn't be as effective as he is. He is a shining example of how hard work can make you an effective player. Samhan led the West Coast Conference in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots. …He does not run that well. He looks awkward. But at the end of a game - Samhan has his average of 21 points. ...He is really good around the hoop. ...He uses a variety of fakes to get his shot off inside. ...He has good hands. He is unselfish. ...Right handed. ...He seeks contact, fades, and hits. ...Does a good job of presenting a BIG easy target to teammates feeding the post. ...Good footwork in the deep paint. ...Doesn't take bad shots. ...Alert. ...He does not "show and recover" well - which will most likely prevent him from being an NBA Center. ...By all accounts - Samhan is a GREAT kid. ...Known as a hard worker that lost weight and changed his body by working out in the Summer.

Where do I expect Samhan to be taken? He most likely will not be drafted.

Good advice: In 2009- James Harden was drafted 3rd. We said, "take Tyreke Evans".

Poor advice: In 2004 the 3rd pick was Ben Gordon. We said, "take Shaun Livingston".
