| Singleton, Chris | Florida St. | 6'9" | 220 | SF | Jr. | Singleton is a former McDonald's All-America player that played three years at Florida State. I consider him the best defensive player in the draft. He is a hybrid Forward that can guard almost any position on the floor. He is long and athletic and he gets after it on defense. He is a proud kid that doesn't have time for the weak of mind. In that sense, he projects very well going forward as a player that will likely be given "warrior" status when it is all said and done. Offensively he is making strides although in my opinion - he tries to do more than he should. He has the ability to take his man off the dribble. …He is an NBA athlete that will finish in transition. …His shot selection is questionable as is his touch. His career free throw percentage is a lackluster .592. ...He did raise his three-point percentage this season to a career best .368 but you will never mistake his jumper for Dorell Wright's jumper. |
