Indiana 6'7" 218 SG jr. Williams averaged 13.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game as a junior at Indiana. He shot over 50% FG in all three of his seasons as a Hoosier. He is a good (not great) athlete that excels in the transition game. Williams jumped 36" max. vert. at the NBA Draft Combine. He also plays D. His defensive rating was better than the I.U. team DEFRTG. He has the ability to guard positions one through three. …I like Troy Williams' game but his decision making is clearly his weakness. He had more turnovers than assists. Williams hit 34% 3-pt. FG in 2015-16. He shot 70.5% FT (career). ...Williams, if selected, figures to go late in the second round. We think he should be considered as a potential draftee due to his ability to play defense, and finish in the open court.
