| Wise, Jeremy | Bakersfield Jam - D League / Southern Miss. | 6'2" | 165 | PG | Wise is a 23 year old guard that brings his D-League experience to the Draft. He played three seasons at Southern Miss before turning pro and playing in the D League in 2009-10 for the Bakersfield Jam. For the Jam, he played exceptionally well at Point Guard - posting a .556 EFR for the season. He shot .519 FG, .375 3-pt., and .846 FT this season for the no-defense playing Jam. Bakersfield went 17-33 with Wise as their main man. …He is a good shooter - especially in catch and shoot situations. But he will also take his man to the hole where he is a surprisingly good finisher. He gets to the line. (At Southern Miss - he shot 82% FT for his career.) ...Probably has more of a TWO Guard's mentality - in that he looks for his own scoring more than a pure PG. ...You can play him in pick and roll situations as well. ...He worked out twice for the Sacramento Kings. |
Where do I expect Wise to be taken? He most likely will not be drafted.
Our best advice: In 2005 - The 14th pick was Rashad McCants. We said, "take Danny Granger."
Our worst advice: In 2004 - The 43rd pick was Trevor Ariza. We said, "take Ricky Minard." Minard was taken 48th. He is now playing in Russia (as of March 2010).
