NBA Draft Scouting 2002

29. Vincent Yarbrough

Tennessee 6'7" 210 SG, SF - SR.

Yarbrough (note: Yar-Bro) is a classy guard/swing player. Former McDonald's high school All-America. All-Time steals leader in Tennessee history. Good shooter can come off a screen and hit a jumper, or go inside for a soft right-hand hook that he also uses to convert on offensive rebounds. Can take a hit, and still finish. Has super hops, and great length. His wingspan is a shade over seven feet, as measured at Chicago pre draft camp. Really improved in his last two years at Tennessee. ...He is still a bit passive offensively. He rebounds well for a wing. He also can become invisible for stretches. Very lo-key, smooth.

Looking Back to 1999
