Zimmerman, Stephen UNLV 7'0" 235 C frosh. Zimmerman is a lefty Center that averaged 10.5 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.0 blocked shots per game in his freshman season at UNLV. He has major holes in his game. He shot just 29% from 3-pt., 62% FT, and he turned it over more than twice for every one assist. The strength of his game right now is on the defensive end. He is an excellent shot blocker and defensive rebounder due to his good timing and nose for the ball. His measurements are interesting. He is a legit seven-footer but his standing reach is just 8'8.5" (same as Luke Babbitt, and Chandler Parsons). Zimmerman's max. vert. is 35". ...Zimmerman is not yet ready for meaningful minutes in the NBA in our opinion. So whatever team drafts him will likely need to see him through the development process.

In 2002, the 51st pick in the NBA Draft was Marcus Taylor. We advised, "Draft Udonis Haslem."
